Pilgrimage to Atlanta
An Intergenerational Trip!
Trip Details
October 10–11, 2026
Join Savannah Presbytery for an inspiring intergenerational pilgrimage to Atlanta on October 10–11, 2026! This meaningful weekend will bring together children, youth, and adults from across the presbytery as we explore places that shaped the Civil Rights Movement and continue to speak to faith, justice, courage, and hope today.
The pilgrimage includes hotel accommodations at Hyatt House Atlanta Downtown with breakfast included, admission to the National Center for Civil and Human Rights Museum, worship at the historic Ebenezer Baptist Church, and opportunities to explore Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park. Participants will experience a weekend of learning, reflection, worship, and community-building across generations.
Children and youth attend free with a registered guardian, making this a wonderful opportunity for families to grow in faith together. Optional district carpooling will also be available for an additional $15 per registration to help cover gas expenses. This fee applies per registration, not per individual participant, making it a convenient and affordable option for families traveling together.
Room options will be available for families, roommates, or single occupancy. Hotel rooms are $214 per room, and museum admission is $20 per adult, with the presbytery covering admission costs for all youth and children under 17.
