Georgia Presbyteries Gathering
2026 Georgia Presbyteries’ Gathering
took place February 20 – 21, 2026
Building a Bigger Table:
Gathering, Sharing and Learning Together
Presbyterians from across Georgia came together to learn, grow and build relationships. Our time together was grounded in worship. We gave thanks for the tables that shape our lives and imagined how we might extend them to welcome others.
We were honored to welcome Rev. Jihyun Oh as our keynote speaker.
With wisdom, insight, and a deep commitment to the church’s future, she will help us
envision new ways to grow together in faith and community.
The Rev. Jihyun Oh is the Stated Clerk of the General Assembly and Executive Director ofthe Interim United Agency of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). She was elected and installed at the 226th General Assembly in July 2024. Oh is only the second woman to serve in the denomination’s highest office, and the first woman and the first Korean American elected to lead the PC(USA) in its more than 300-year history in the United States.
As Stated Clerk, Oh not only serves as the ecclesial and ecumenical Head of Communion for the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), but also offers constitutional, spiritual, and strategic leadership for the life and witness of the church. In her role as Executive Director of the Interim Unified Agency, Oh is providing intentional relationship and bridge-building internally with the staff of the newly unified agency and externally with national and global partners as she, and leadership partners, guides the PC(USA) into a new era of its life and work together.
