Georgia Presbyteries Gathering
2026 Georgia Presbyteries’ Gathering
February 20 – 21, 2026
Building a Bigger Table:
Gathering, Sharing and Learning Together
Join Presbyterians from across Georgia beginning at 1 PM Friday, Feb 20th, to learn and grow together. This event is designed to inspire action, spark meaningful conversations, and equip attendees through practical workshops that benefit churches of every size. Leave encouraged, equipped, and empowered to bring your congregation—and your community—closer to God’s vision of welcome, service, and faithful mission.
Our time together will be grounded in worship. We’ll give thanks for the tables that shape our lives and imagine how we might extend them to welcome others.
- Liturgist: The Rev. Aisha Brooks-Johnson, Executive Presbyter, Presbytery of Greater Atlanta
- Music Leader & Choir Director: Trenton Durham, Associate Director of Worship, Roswell Presbyterian Church
Join the Georgia Presbyteries Choir!
Everyone who wants to make a joyful sound to the Lord is welcome to be part of our Conference Choir! We’ll rehearse Saturday morning during the workshop block in the Jones Auditorium. No audition needed — just bring your voice and your heart for worship!
We will conclude our event with a shared celebration of communion, offering a glimpse of the great table that awaits us all.
We are honored to welcome Rev. Jihyun Oh as our keynote speaker.
With wisdom, insight, and a deep commitment to the church’s future, she will help us
envision new ways to grow together in faith and community.
The Rev. Jihyun Oh is the Stated Clerk of the General Assembly and Executive Director ofthe Interim United Agency of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). She was elected and installed at the 226th General Assembly in July 2024. Oh is only the second woman to serve in the denomination’s highest office, and the first woman and the first Korean American elected to lead the PC(USA) in its more than 300-year history in the United States.
As Stated Clerk, Oh not only serves as the ecclesial and ecumenical Head of Communion for the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), but also offers constitutional, spiritual, and strategic leadership for the life and witness of the church. In her role as Executive Director of the Interim Unified Agency, Oh is providing intentional relationship and bridge-building internally with the staff of the newly unified agency and externally with national and global partners as she, and leadership partners, guides the PC(USA) into a new era of its life and work together.
